General Merit (GM) in Karnataka NEET counselling refers to the unreserved category, open to all candidates irrespective of caste, religion, or community. Approximately 50% of state quota seats fall under GM after accounting for all reservation categories. These seats are filled strictly on NEET All India Rank merit.
