Dental colleges in Kerala

Kerala has 30 dental colleges participating in NEET-UG counselling — 5 government, 25 private. Together they offer 1,190 BDS seats across state quota and All India Quota rounds.

These colleges are in 24 cities. Kollam has the most with 2, followed by Kozhikode (2), Thrissur (2), Kothamangalam (2), Perinthalmanna (2).

The average intake per college is 40 seats. Azeezia College of Dental Sciences & Research has the largest intake at 100 seats; Govt. Dental College has the smallest at 40.

Government colleges account for 190 seats (16% of total) while private and deemed institutions contribute 1,000. Candidates targeting lower fees should focus on government colleges, where competition is stiffer.
