Dental colleges in Punjab

Punjab has 17 dental colleges participating in NEET-UG counselling — 2 government, 15 private. Together they offer 1,100 BDS seats across state quota and All India Quota rounds.

These colleges are in 11 cities. Ludhiana has the most with 3, followed by Dera Bassi (3), Patiala (2), Bathinda (1), Faridkot (1).

The average intake per college is 65 seats. Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences & Research has the largest intake at 100 seats; Christian Dental College has the smallest at 40.

Government colleges account for 50 seats (5% of total) while private and deemed institutions contribute 1,050. Candidates targeting lower fees should focus on government colleges, where competition is stiffer.
