Dental colleges in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu has 31 dental colleges participating in NEET-UG counselling — 3 government, 28 private. Together they offer 2,463 BDS seats across state quota and All India Quota rounds.

These colleges are in 18 cities. Chennai has the most with 11, followed by Madurai (2), Tiruchengode (2), Melmaruvathur (1), Chengalpattu (1).

The average intake per college is 79 seats. Govt. Dental College & Hospital has the largest intake at 113 seats; Government Dental College has the smallest at 50.
